Terms & Conditions
We Strongly advise all our Students to read through our terms and conditions before making a booking, making any payment or start the course. These are put in place to safeguard the Academy and to ensure the maximum standards and service are offered to the client/student . In booking an appointment and signing at the end of this terms and conditions page you are agreeing to terms and conditions stated below.
Set out below are the terms on which SICT Academy provides service to its clients/Students, Please ensure that you have read and fully understood them prior to booking any courses, training and treatment .
We highly recommend that you schedule your appointments at least one week in advance to ensure that your preferred time and training /Course is available.
Enrolment:
Students can enrol on most of our courses online, however before enrolment please ensure that you meet the entry requirements. Proof of relevant qualifications and pre-requisites is required before access is provided to the course learning materials.

Code of Conduct:
To ensure all learners are given the best opportunity to learn, we would ask the following code of conduct is adhered to at all times:-

1. Punctuality is essential with all learners to arrive for 8.45am for a 9.00am start and training to finish at approximately 3.00pm (half day training) and 6.00pm (all day training). Allow adequate time to travel to the training centre. Lateness is very disruptive for other students and may mean you miss fundamental aspects of the training. You will be refused entry if you arrive late for training. There is a transfer fee of Rs.2500/-per training date to reschedule your training if you arrive late. Please do not break from the training unless instructed to do so by the tutor. A lunch break is provided along with short refreshment breaks throughout the day, timed as is appropriate for the course. Taking excessive or unauthorised breaks may mean you miss vital training that impedes your success on the course. Students are advised to remain in the centre during agreed breaks (please bring cold food). Should you leave the centre and return late from break(s), you may be refused entry and be unable to complete your course.

2. Attendance of training days is compulsory. Failure to attend scheduled training can result in removal from your programme. Genuine reasons will be subject to the discretion of Simply Skin Medical Aesthetics Academy and handled under our above policy on rescheduling of training. This may be subject to rescheduling fees.

3. Learners are required to purchase at their cost & wear a suitable beauty uniform (tunic) to training / assessment dates. Nails should be short, hair tied back. For health and safety, all jewellery should be removed except a plain wedding band and small stud earrings.

4. Please ensure an enrolment form is handed to the tutor. Please make the tutor aware of any medical conditions or learning difficulties which may impact your learning (these should previously have been discussed at the time of booking to ensure suitability for the training). This can be discussed with the tutor upon arrival at the centre, in confidence. This will allow the tutor to best support you throughout the training day and make any adjustments possible to assist you to gain the most from your training.

5. We can accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or theft of personal property; however rare. Therefore we encourage students to leave all unnecessary valuables at home, remain vigilant to their belongings during training and take all property with them when leaving the centre. Any property left behind will be held for 7 days, following which it will be disposed as appropriate. Students are responsible for collection of lost items from site, by appointment. We cannot post or deliver any lost property.

6. Products / tools provided at the training centre remain the property of Simply Skin medical Aesthetics Academy and should not be taken from the training centre at any time. Such will be treated as theft and reported to the authorities. Please work with the tools / products and within the facilities provided taking care to avoid causing deliberate damage or loss. Students may be held responsible for the cost of such loss / damage. Please wait until items are provided to you and no time should students access any staff only store cupboards or storage areas without express permission of the tutor and/or without supervision. For reasons of health, safety and hygiene; please use products / tools / equipment only as directed and when prompted by the tutor. If asked to ‘down tools’, please ensure you comply with any instruction by ceasing immediately.

7. Use of mobile phones is prohibited during training and should be turned off outside of agreed breaks.

8. No smoking, use of e-cigarettes/vaporisers or chewing of gum within the training centre.

9. Students must not consume or be under the influence of alcohol or drugs at any time during attendance of the training or assessment day(s). You may be asked to leave the centre where we have reason to suspect such influence, and the police may be contacted if appropriate.

The training centres operate a mixed sex basis for training days and you must be prepared to give treatments to a models of the opposite sex. If there are any reasons of belief, faith or religion which prohibit this, please advise before booking.

10. Be courteous and respectful to tutors and other learners. No use of foul language. Abuse of any kind including racism will not be tolerated. Please avoid discussion of any sensitive or unrelated topics during the training which may distract other students or at any time, which may cause offence to others. While we operate a welcoming, friendly atmosphere on training days, student conduct should reflect that which would be expected by a beauty professional working within a salon environment since you are undertaking a professional skills course. Please ensure you work cooperatively and respectfully with all and take feedback / guidance seriously to allow you to acquire and demonstrate the required level of competence upon the training course(s). We appreciate learning new skills can sometimes be challenging but outbursts or disruptive behaviour (which may affect other students) will not be tolerated. Tutors will support you as best possible so please work with our staff to assist you, trusting in their professional knowledge and experience.

11. Verbal, physical or written abuse will not be tolerated at any time and will result an immediate verbal warning from the tutor. Should the conduct continue, you will be asked to leave the training immediately. You will not receive your diploma and will forfeit all course fees paid.

12. Should an issue arise on your training day in relating to other learners on the course or if you are experiencing difficulties with the course, please immediately notify your tutor so action can be taken or advice given to support you as required as it is sometimes difficult to rectify issues later and this will allow you to gain the most from your training day experience. Any issues will be handled in the strictest confidence but will not be permitted as grounds for any refund of course fees or for additional training, where this is not raised on the training day to enable remedy.

13. Learner feedback forms are to be completed at every training session and are compulsory where requested.

Photographic ID must be shown to the tutor at every training day to gain admission to the centre, if requested. Entry may be refused without this.

Students must not take any photographs or make any recordings (audio or video) of any kind while in attendance of training and/or when within the training centre premises. This is to meet Data Protection legislation, to protect the privacy of our students and avoid disruption to training. Photos may occasionally be taken by tutors with the express permission of students, for the purposes of marketing/promotion.
PRIVACY POLICY & GDPR
How will we use the information you give us?
We will only use your information on the basis that it is necessary to administer your bookings or enquiries or help you with further assistance. Where we need to pass information to other hospitality members, it will only be for that purpose.
When or if we contact you, it will either be for the above reason, or because we have a legitimate interest in marketing related products. For any other marketing it will only be with your consent and you will be able to withdraw your consent or unsubscribe easily at any time.
If we have to transfer information to a country outside the EU, we will only do so if a similar level of protection applies. If we need to obtain information which is nature sensitive, we will only do so on the basis that it is in the public interest – for example to fight crime, prevent fraud or to make sure insurance is available.
Appointments and Cancellation Policy:

All doctors, nurses and therapists are trained and approved in accordance with the company’s treatment/Training protocols and therefore our company does not guarantee continued treatment with a named nurse or therapist etc.
If you wish to cancel the contract, the following terms apply:

At SICT Academy we are delighted to say courses are in very high demand and it is important to us that we aim to accommodate all our students.

By completing your registration for a course and making a payment of full or deposit payment, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

You have the right to cancel your booking at any time under the following terms:

Please note cancellation charges apply. Upon booking, 50% of the course fee is immediately non-refundable. Bookings which are cancelled less than 1 month prior to the course are 100% non-refundable.

If we can see that the online e-learning has been used in any way from a yourself in an event of cancellation then a fee of 50% will be charged for the study materials.

The right to cancel does not apply once we have issued you the course manual, mapping and you have attended either online training (Zoom meeting ) or face to face training before receiving your cancellation request to us.

We require at least 1 months written notice to make any changes to your course booking or training dates. We are not able to reschedule or move any training course bookings that fall within 1 month of the course date.

Once a course has been redeemed, we cannot grant a refund.

You may cancel your purchase of the course within the period of 14 calendar days (cancellation period) from the date on which the contract of purchase is concluded. Please note that, the right to cancel does not apply once we have issued you the course manual. Mapping procedures ,and other course materials for online training before receiving your cancellation request to us.

If we have to cancel any course due to an event beyond the control of such party including but not limited to any Act of God, terrorism, war, political insurgence, insurrection, riot, civil unrest, act of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood or any other natural or man made eventuality outside of our control, we will offer the opportunity to reschedule your training course booking to a later date. In such circumstances, any requests to cancel a course booking would be covered under our usual cancellation terms.

We reserve the right to amend or cancel any training date or location. Should this be necessary our staff will contact delegates immediately and arrange an alternative date. We do not accept responsibility for any travel expenses or accommodation costs from delegates.

The company also reserves the right to cancel in the event of an unforeseen circumstance which disables a safe training environment. In the event of a cancellation, SICT Academy will either arrange for an alternative course date. If you are unable or refuse to attend on the alternative date offered the full course fee will become non-refundable.

The company reserves the right to cancel or change the planned training courses with reference to dates, locations, and course content.

We reserve the right to cancel course bookings or withdraw delegates from the course that we feel to be disruptive, defamatory or impeding of our courses.

We advise all our clients to read through the course terms and conditions before making a booking . These are put in place to safeguard the Academy and to ensure the maximum standards and service are offered to the client.

In booking an appointment you are agreeing to the SICT Academy Ltd terms and conditions.

Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time or forfeiting of the appointment.

We will endeavour to ensure that your appointment runs to time; however, should we need to cancel or postpone your appointment at short notice, we will make every effort to contact you in advance.
Prior to your appointment we will inform you of any preparation required in advance of your treatment. Failure to follow the guidelines may result in cancellation of your appointment, reduced course time, or additional fees being charged.
We do not provide any refunds whatsoever for:

Cancelled or missed appointments. Cancellation is accepted over the phone or in person at the training centre . Cancellation via e-mail is accepted. Do not leave voice message regarding cancellations, meaning voice message not accepted

Others – please ask for the details in advance before you start your training /course .

If the course has already being taught and we have received positive feedback obtained from the student.
Please note clients can reschedule their existing booked appointment for a maximum of three times. Any further rescheduling will be at the discretion of The director of our company, Too many rescheduling per client/student in a very short time frame causes business disruptions which can affect existing clients. Our company wants to ensure disruptions are set to a minimum and provide all clients the best flexibility and assured times possible.
Courses
Courses purchased as a course must be paid for in full in advance of the first course. All courses must be taken within 1 month of the date of purchase; any course left untaken after 1month will be forfeited.
Please note that as soon as the course is completed there will not be an additional day for extra learning /training unless is agreed in writing with the SICT Academy.

The Tutor is fully qualified and insured to carry out all treatments/training offered and has the appropriate liability insurance with certificates available upon request if not already presented in the treatment /course room .

No staff at our company are Independent Prescribers (IP). Certain treatments require a prescription to obtain certain products. Our company employs an external prescriber who charges us per prescription. We may refer you to appropriate individual to assist you with your requirement ,we do not take any responsibility for making any referral to third party ,it is between you and the prescriber whatever arrangement you make.

If a client is attending an aesthetics consultation, the practitioner will require facial photos to satisfy insurance requirements or discuss your treatment/s with other professionals in order to obtain the appropriate treatment.

The practitioner may ask if photo’s can be taken with certain treatments for validation, training and portfolio purposes. Certain photos taken will be used for marketing purposes.
House Rules
When you as a student commences a course with us ,you are expected to complete that course as stipulated in our offer letter. In the event that you :
– Withdraws from a course, no refunds will be made in the following cases:
– A student decides to withdraw or leave early from their course.
– A student is withdrawn from a course due to poor attendance or poor academic progress;
– A student breaches the code of conduct resulting in expulsion by becoming a disruptive individual in the class and spreading, rumorous, gossips, and false allegation which result in bring our Academy in to disrepute.
A reasonable standard of conduct is expected on our courses.
A student may be suspended or expelled without refund in case of illegal, anti-social or dangerous behaviour. We will not accept:
Disrespect to members of our staff ,Foul, inappropriate or abusive language, violence, intimidating or insulting behaviour, bullying, any form of discrimination (including based on race, gender, religious beliefs or sexual orientation); or any other act or behaviour that does or may bring our Academy into disrepute or cause any harm or suffering to staff, other students or members of the public.
If a student has unacceptable conduct, we may expel them. We may also take any further action we think is appropriate including informing the appropriate Authorities or their course sponsor.
In the event of expulsion due to inappropriate conduct, there will be no refund of fees and any outstanding fees will become payable immediately.
Mobile Phones
Please ensure that your mobile phone is switched off during your visit.
Payments
All trainings /courses bookings must be paid for in full, at least one month of the date of purchase prior to treatment/training course commencing.
If no payment were made you will be refused to attend the course /training .
If you have part paid for the course/training you are legally responsible to remit the outstanding balance to our company failure to remit the remaining balance will result delay to issue your course certificate .
If you have paid for a course of training course and are subsequently unable to complete the course, we will offer you a refund, calculated by deducting the full list price of all treatments/Course/training, course manual already taken, plus any charged for non-attendance, from the total price of the course of treatments, and return the difference to you. (Note: treatments or courses that have been bought with discounts will be calculated based on full list price per course and per treatment)
You have 24 hours to cancel the course/training , beginning the day after you made a booking/payment . If your treatment starts within the cancellation period then your right to cancel ends the day you start treatment/course
Please be aware that the booking fees are non-refundable unless you cancel 24 hours before your appointment time. Under no circumstances without any valid reason in writing (Within 2 days after the course /training) ending refunds to be made. The notice for refund must be categorised and fully explained and be posted by recorded delivery to our company registered office.

Course/Training suitability
We will always assess whether Course is suitable for you, or likely to be successful, prior to any treatment/Course being carried out. If not, we will inform you as to the reasons why. You will only be liable for the cost of the initial consultation, where applicable.
Liability
Our company will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he or she provide our company with all relevant medical/qualification details prior to each course. Our company will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.
The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by, or on behalf of, our company regarding the care of a treated area/course . Nothing in these terms of business shall exclude or limit liability for death or any personal injury resulting from our company negligence.
Important Note to Read
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he or she provide the designated practitioner with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. Our company will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.
It is also the client’s responsibility to ensure in advance before booking and start of their course if they wish to be trained by particular member of our staff we will be pleased to provide you with full particular details at request.
Failure to disclosure/notify us we shall make an appointment with the first available tutor as we think would be appropriate.
Whichever the course tutor you select you can rest be assured that the quality of the services will never be compromised and you still receive a valid high quality course and services by our team member .
After the successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion. The SICT Academy is not liable or responsible for any activities or treatments performed by graduates after the course. Please ensure that you are operating within your scope of practice as outlined by state and federal law.
